A “Helicopter Leaves” video premiere and more cool children’s music news for Northwest Kids

Since the release of their album Why Why Why? this summer, Ants Ants Ants have been busy performing and making more videos and writing new songs. Their animated music videos are now playing at the PDX Airport Hollywood Theater cinema. They also have a few shows planned in Portland this fall and winter (following a quick tour in Austin, Texas in October):
  • November 17 – Northwest Library 
  • December 15 – Kenton Library 
  • January 5  – Hollywood Library 
  • January 12 – Multnomah Athletic Club
  • 2/9 – St Johns Library
Ants Ants Ants’ Dave Gulick and Johnny Clay have been working with noted illustrator Chris Purdin to create several vibrant animated music videos. They just debuted a new animated video by Chris, for the fun seasonally appropriate song “Helicopter Leaves”https://youtu.be/1leXbIr9pSE
 
Portland’s leader of family-friendly sing-alongs is Red Yarn. He’s planning a busy fall of shows at Portland venues like the Village Ballroom, Mississippi Pizza and the Portland Children’s Museum, following his recent performances at Austin City Limits, including  And, watch Red Yarn’s YouTube channel for a new music video of his hoot of a song for young activists:  “Old Hen Cackled.” It’s due to post in time for election day!
