Last Minute Valentine’s Day Craft

Procrastinators unite! Looking for a last minute Valentine’s Day craft for the kiddos? We’ve got you covered!

Homemade Scented Playdough Recipe:

• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup water
• 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
• 1/3 cup salt
• 1 tablespoon oil
• food coloring of your choice
• 1 packet of Cherry Kool Aid (or other powdered beverage)

Directions:

1. Mix together all the ingredients, except the food coloring, in a saucepan.
2. Cook over low/medium heat, stirring. Once it begins to thicken, add your food coloring.
3. Keep stirring until the mixture is begins to thicken
4. Add Kool Aid packet
5. Remove the dough and allow to cool wax/parchment paper or plate to cool

Voila! You could get even MORE crafty and place in individual containers with labels to give as Valentines!
