33rd Annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta
The Portland Guadalajara Sister City Association is hosting their 33rd Annual Cinco de Mayo festival this weekend! Be a part of Portland’s largest multi-cultural event at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park. This festival promises to be loads of fun for the whole family, with authentic music, amateur boxing, artisan crafts, kids’ activities, rides, tequila and beer and so much more. Gnome and Fairy Gala
Feeling whimsical this weekend? This Camas First Friday is all about gnomes and fairies! Scoop up your fairy tale lovers and head to Camas to see how many gnomes and fairies you can find around town and leave food in the little fairy houses. Portland Train Day
It’s time for the 2nd Annual Portland Train Day, hosted by the Oregon Rail Heritage Center! The ORHC loves bringing to life Oregon’s rich locomotive history with this super fun day, commemorating the completion of the first trans-continental railroad in 1869. With live music, several food trucks, face painting, all day train rides and displays and a special appearance from Thomas the Tank Engine, this is a day your little locomotive lovers won’t want to miss! May Day Celebration
Experience the aloha this weekend at this May Day Arts and Crafts Festival! May Day is a spring time celebration honoring the spirit of aloha and the Hawaiian tradition of making and giving leis. Head to Clark College to enjoy live music, hula, island arts and crafts, local foods, shave ice and more. Bring in your leis made with Pacific Northwest greenery and flowers by noon on Saturday to enter into the lei contest! Kids’ Morning Skate
Every Sunday is Kids’ Morning Skate time at Oaks Park. Get some exercise and have a blast skating to kids’ choice music. There will be skate games and activities, a free lesson by a USA Roller Sports certified coach and a visit from Chipper the Squirrel!
