Ingredients

1 quart cold milk

2 31/2-ounce packages instant banana pudding mix

2 bananas, chopped

4 cups heavy cream

1 cup confectioners’ sugar

4 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 12-ounce package prepared pound cake, cubed

½ 12-ounce box vanilla wafers (Nilla), crushed

Directions

❶ Whisk together milk and pudding mix in bowl

until smooth; stir in chopped bananas. Set aside.

❷ Beat cream in large chilled glass or metal bowl

until stiff peaks are just about to form. Beat in sugar

and vanilla until stiff peaks form, making sure not

to over-beat.

❸ Layer 1/2 each pound cake cubes,

pudding, whipped cream, and crushed vanilla wafers

in trifle bowl. Repeat layering with remaining

1/2 each cake, pudding, and whipped cream.

❹ Top

with remaining 1/2 crushed vanilla wafers or top with

whole wafers. Chill and serve. Try individual cups

when entertaining.

Not a banana fan? Substitute any fruit or pudding,

or try these fun variations: Brownie Mocha; Coffee
