Flynn Creek Circus Brings A Fantastical New Adventure to the Pacific Northwest

Flynn Creek Circus presents The Cricket & the Wren, an all-human circus featuring breathtaking acrobatics, athletic skill, storytelling and comedy. The 2026 production comes to Vancouver’s Clark College Oct. 8-12, Cathlamet’s Rivermile 38 Brewery Oct. 16-18, and Salem’s Riverfront Park Oct. 23-25. 

A merchant’s daughter sets out to find the castle where the horizon meets the sea. To break the Frog Prince’s spell, she must brave a journey filled with wonder, encountering Jack and the Beanstalk’s sassy cow, an out-of-pocket pirate, and the secret sacrifice of the cricket and the wren.

Featuring aerialists, jugglers, knife throwers and laugh-out-loud comedy, the show blends classic storybook archetypes with imaginative new heroes for an entertaining experience for all ages.

In addition to family-friendly performances, Flynn Creek Circus offers an interactive children’s camp program for ages 7-15 and its popular Adults Only Show, featuring outrageous acts and dark comedy. Visit the website for select Adults Only showtimes, camp details and special discount nights.

Spectators are invited into the tent up to 30 minutes before each performance. Beer, wine and light concessions will be available for purchase, and the two-hour show includes a 15-minute intermission. Limited free parking is available at Clark College and Rivermile 38 Brewery, and free parking is available at Riverfront Park.
